Her main areas of practice include property law and real estate transactions, legal support in construction projects, commercial and company law, corporate and banking law, contract law, enforcement proceedings, and intellectual property law.
She has significant experience in litigation and procedural representation of individuals and legal entities before courts and enforcement authorities.
Professional experience
Attorney Demetra Rohova began her professional career in 2011 as an intern at the Ombudsman of the Republic of Bulgaria, and subsequently as a translator-intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria.
In 2013, she joined Borislav Vitanov & Partners Law Firm as a legal associate, where she continued working after completing her legal education.
In 2016, she was addmited to the Sofia Bar Association.
While practicing at Borislav Vitanov & Partners, she developed her practice mainly in the areas of commercial and company law, financial law, legal services for foundations and non-profit organizations, as well as litigation and procedural representation of individuals and legal entities. She gained extensive experience in debt collection procedures, including representation in order for payment proceedings / under Article 410 and 417 of the Civil Procedure Code /, as well as enforcement proceedings. Her practice also included property law, insurance law, employment law, trademarks, copyright, and related rights.
At the beginning of 2022, she joined Horozov & Partners Law firm, where she provided legal services to corporate clients and individuals in the fields of commercial and company law, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), commercial contracts, real estate law, construction law, contract law, family law, and inheritance law. She also handled registrations of trademarks, utility models, and patents before the Bulgarian Patent Office and the European Union Intrellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
