Professional experience
Attorney-at-law Demetra Rohova started her professional career as a trainee in 2011 at the Ombudsman of the Republic of Bulgaria and then as an intern as a translator at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria.
In 2013 she worked as an intern at Borislav Vitanov & Partners, Sofia, where she remained after completing her legal education.
In February 2016, Demetra was registered as an Attorney at Law at the Sofia Bar Association.
As an Attorney at Law at Borislav Vitanov & Partners, she primarily worked in the following areas: corporate and commercial law, financial law, advising foundations and non-profit organizations, legal representation of individuals and legal entities in court proceedings, comprehensive legal services for debt collection processes for companies with a large number of debtors, including legal representation in expedited proceedings /under Article 410 and 417 of the Civil Procedure Code / as well as in enforcement proceedings before a bailiff. Other areas of expertise include property law, insurance law, labor law, trademark law, copyright, and related rights.
At the beginning of 2022, Demetra started working at Horozov & Partners Law firm. There, she focused on providing legal services to corporate clients and individuals. Her work covered areas such as corporate and commercial law, legal services for company transformations, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, a full range of legal services in the real estate sector, legal support for construction activities, contractual law, family and inheritance law, and more. She also handled the registration of trademarks, utility models, and patents with the Bulgarian and European Patent Offices.
