Ilian Beslemeshki is an attorney at law with over 20 years of experience in litigation, commercial and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, investments, competition law, and public procurement. He advises corporate clients on complex legal, regulatory, and transactional matters with significant commercial implications.
Ilian Beslemeshki joined Velchev and Co. law offices in 2022, having previously practiced with Lega InterConsult – Penkov, Markov & Partners Law Offices and Georgiev, Todorov & Co. Law Offices, where he handled high-profile disputes and sophisticated corporate and regulatory matters. He has been a member of the Sofia Bar Association since 2006 and has served as an arbitrator with the Arbitration Court Sofia since 2016.
He has represented leading companies before the civil and administrative courts, particularly in the telecommunications, energy, pharmaceutical and financial services sectors. His experience includes acting for major market participants in complex competition and regulatory proceedings, including the successful defense of the largest retail company in Bulgaria in a landmark unfair competition case.
In addition to litigation, he has advised on M&A, privatization, transactions and debt and corporate restructuring projects.
He also provides ongoing legal counsel and court representation to key national institutions and major market players, including the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, the Financial Supervision Commission, Central Depository, the country's vaccine manufacturer, and the leading telecommunications operator.
