Professional Experience
Attorney – at – law Petar Georgiev has been part of the Velchev & Co. team since September 2024, practicing mainly in the areas of contract and property law, as well as in procedures related to the migration status of foreign nationals in Bulgaria.
He began his professional career in 2019 as an intern at the Sofia City Court, and in 2022 he joined the law firm Georgiev & Petrov as a trainee.
In his practice, Attorney - at - law Georgiev strives for in-depth analysis of the practical issues that may arise in specific cases, with the aim of protecting clients’ interests before third parties and state institutions. A leading principle in his work is to present options, risks, and subsequent steps in a clear and accessible manner, ensuring that the client’s activities proceed as smoothly and efficiently as possible. He actively participates in the drafting of contracts, legal opinions, and legal analyses.
Member of the Sofia Bar Association since June 2025.
